REPENT BEFORE THE GATE OF MERCY CLOSES
I am falling at Your feet with a Repentant Heart.
I am crying out and confessing my sins.
I am praying You would snatch them
Out of my thoughts.
I am asking You to cleanse my Heart
In order to be forgiven and be Yours again,
Then I will be able to restore my relationship
With You, my Lord.
REPENTANCE AS PART OF OUR SOUL SALVATION

REPENTANCE AS PART OF OUR SOUL SALVATION
The life on the Planet Earth is changing Right Now and for Eternity.
Can you feel that the old systems, the old ways of going about things is literally crumbling and falling apart? That is why it looks so chaotic.

The years 2020-2021 put a spotlight on a pandemic that has affected every corner of the world, Covid-19. While this pandemic dominated the news cycle, politics, the economy, and even simple conversation, this isn’t the only pandemic the world has ever had.
In fact, the world is always in a state of pandemic.
There is a pandemic of poverty, of disease, of mental illness. Suicide is a pandemic. It’s happening more and more. Even people who don’t eventually try it think about it.

Even if we are able to avoid the pandemics of poverty, disease, and mental illness, none of us is able to dodge the pandemic of anxiety. We are all stressed out, overtaxed, and nervous. Our overall state of being edgy makes it hard to be patient, forgiving or graceful. And even if somehow we manage to control our anxiety, there is the pandemic of our fallen world: sin, temptation, and the search for meaning and purpose.
Faith in Lord Jesus Christ is constantly challenged through overt ridicule from others, or personal private doubt and distraction.
All of us struggle as we live “double lives”, striving to be who God created us to be, while constantly falling short, involuntarily, or worse, yet, by choice. Many of us live with guilt and shame because of this. We struggle to be the person we know we are called to be as we fight against the things we are tempted to do that take us away from who we know we are called to be.
It is clear that our world is broken, and every person in the world suffers from a degree of brokenness, even the most “put together people.” There are always cracks to be found in every human being.
Thus every human being has a need for healing.
Because the human being is comprised of body, Mind, Soul & Spirit there is healing needed for all parts of the human being.

WHAT IS THE GOAL OF THE CRISTIAN LIFE?
The goal of the Christian life is to reach Salvation. Salvation is not something to be purchased or even earned, but something that is granted through the mercies of God. In order to receive God’s mercies, one not only has to believe in God, but believe that one has the need of God’s mercies. Because mercy also is not something that can be purchased or demanded, but a grace of God that is given.
We have to pay attention to our own Energy, to our own thoughts, social conditioning, the beliefs that we have and the most important for each one of us is TO REPENT!

what is REPENTANCE
Let define Repentance or what is called “Metanoia” in Greek. This term, translated, refers to a Change of Mind – or better expressed is a change in your “nous” or what the early church Fathers always referred to as “the Eye of the Soul”.
Repentance as defined in the Bible is not an emotion but decision. Because it does not spring from the emotions but from the Will!
It is a continual enactment of freedom, a movement forward, deriving from renewed choice and leading to restoration. If we can reach people’s Will & turn their Will we will see permanent conversions. Many conversions today are impermanent because they never really change the Will of the person.
What this then means for you and I, is that Repentance is when we redirect our Spiritual Intellect or SpiritualMind back to God.
In other words, I have been living to please myself, to do my own thing. But from now on I am going to live to please Lord Jesus Christ, my Savior!
You can not repent without the change of your Will!
We have to repent for our sins in order to receive forgiveness. Sin is that state in which our direction or orientation is away from God – it is pointed towards sinful passions. The Church has always described this false direction as a “falling away” of some sort of the Grace of God. This would explain why we have always referred to the sin committed by Adam and Eve in the garden as “the Fall”.
If the state of sinfulness is categorized by a falling, then the process of repentance must therefore be seen a “rising up”!
Now let’s put this into context with the word Metanoia.
To Change Your Mind is the action of rising up from the position of a full prostration. Our rising up, therefore, is precisely what we are called to whenever we hope to combat sin in our lives.

See, for example, the story of the prodigal son as portrayed in the Gospel of Saint Luke chapter 15. We all know how the younger son asked for his inheritance and then left his Father and wasted his life away in prodigal living. We also know of how he came to his senses and chose to go back to his father. What we should pay attention to, however, is how he expresses this need to go back to his father when he realized the horror he had found himself in.
Let’s read together from that passage of Luke 15:17-20 “But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and
before you, and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants. And he arose and came to his father.”
This rising up that we witness in the story is the MEANING OF REPENTANCE – a complete and utter change is adopted not only in his speech and mindset, but also in his behaviour and ultimately his life.

Now if we are to speak of Repentance as a “Change in Direction”, then we must understand that as Christians we struggle in order to ACHIEVE Repentance, and we also Repent ALONG the way! You see, Repentance is both the JOURNEY and the DESTINATION of our Salvation.
The Church labels this phenomenon by stating that there is both a Repentance to life, as well as a life of Repentance.
Now the first is clearly observed when a person comes to their senses and receives the revelation of Lord Jesus Christ and immediately adopts a change in
order to receive this new life that is offered to them. We see this very evidently in the book of Acts chapter 11 where the great Apostle Peter tells the story of how the Holy Spirit fell upon men who were considered Gentiles after he spoke to them and how the Lord had reveled to him that “What God has cleansed you must not call common” (Acts 11: 9). In this same chapter verse 18 says “When they (the Apostles) heard these things they became silent; and they glorified God, saying, “Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life.”
This repentance to life is therefore found in the fact that true life is bestowed upon those who adopt this Change of Mind and Direction.

IMPORTANT
Some people nowadays are trying to teach that you are saved by your Faith in Lord Jesus Christ alone and there is no need for you to repent or to try not to sin.
But this is not the Truth of God!
Yes, you will still be a sinner at the end of your life eventually but that doesn’t mean that you should not try to quit sinning. The Lord wants us to be in His image, to hate sin & to live according to His commandments. And in order for us to grow on this path we have to strive to live a life that pleases God not ourselves.
Therefore do not fall in the trap of people who teach that your work, your attempt to quit sinning is not part of your salvation! Because there is no salvation without repentance! There is no faith without repentance! We first have to repent and than to have the Faith deep within our hearts!
Others teach that we have to live only according to what Apostle Paul said: that we are saved because of our Faith in Lord Jesus Christ.
Yes, Apostle Paul said to the gentiles to repent and by that he meant they should turn to the Only One True God instead of worshiping many Gods! And that by their faith in Lord Jesus Christ they will be saved! But he never said that after worshiping the only true God you should not obey His LAWS & should not repent!
Repent and believe. Many people have problems because they never truly repent, never truly change their Minds & their direction in serving Lord Jesus Christ Unconditionally.
When you repent truly the way you think is – if I do this or that, will my actions glorify Lord Jesus? You do not live both to glorify yourself one day & on the other to glorify God. Such kind of people are double minded and according to the Bible Double Minded humans are unstable in all their ways. They does not have a solid foundation and can not produce a stable building. If you are a double minded person you are a split personality.
Repentance acquires a different dimension to mere dwelling on human sinfulness, and becomes the realization of human insufficiency and limitation. Repentance then should not be accompanied by a paroxysm of guilt but by an awareness of one’s estrangement from God and one’s neighbor.
WHAT IS THE MOTIVE FOR REPENTANCE

Holy Sepulchre Church – Jerusalem, Israel
WHAT IS THE MOTIVE FOR REPENTANCE
Be angry against sin and try to live in righteousness in repentance.
The central preaching of Saint John the Baptist was “Repent, the Kingdom of Heaven is born”.
Why did he insist so much on repentance?
Because repentance gives birth to humiliation. And humiliation in turn regenerates repentance. And these two virtues lead man to finishing in Christ!
The humble has all spiritual perfumes: simplicity, meanness, love without limits, kindness, in explication, sacrifice, distinction, obedience.
The motive for repentance is at all times humility, unself-sufficiency – not a means of justification for oneself, or of realizing some abstract idea of goodness, or of receiving a reward in some future life.
Just as the strength of God is revealed in the extreme vulnerability of His Son on the Cross, so also the greatest strength of man is to embrace his weakness: “for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I render glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me” (2 Corinthians 12.9). To be flawed is the illogical, perhaps supernatural characteristic of humanity in which one encounters God.
IS THE REPENTANCE A SINGLE ACT?

IS REPENTANCE A SINGLE ACT?
The Repentance must be chosen and acted upon every moment of our lives. It is necessary to repent, not merely for one or two days, but throughout one’s whole life. Which now makes it a Life of Repentance.
Any division within oneself or distinction between the “time to repent” and the “rest of one’s time” is, in the language of the Church, attributed to the demons. The role of these demons is extortionate, offensive – “diavallo,” the root of the word “devil,” means to tear asunder.
We cannot be deprived of true repentance or diverted from its path by the deception of demons. Yet the demons can work through virtue, working to produce a kind of spurious repentance. By nature we are destined to advance and ascend spiritually, but the demons divert the course by simulating advance in the form of a fitful movement, a wobbling from side to side, like crabs.
One can test the quality of repentance by ascertaining whether it is fleeting or fluttering. Inconstancy and inconsistency are a danger signal; lastingness is auspicious. One is being tempted by the demons when one is caused “at times to laugh, and at other times to weep.”
REPENTANCE & TEARS

REPENTANCE & TEARS
For the Fathers of the Church there is an intimate link between repentance and tears.
There are other criteria, but grief is para-mount, and its intensity is proportionate to the depth of repentance. “Truly you are blessed, for you wept for yourself in this world! He who does not weep for himself here below will weep eternally hereafter; so it is impossible not to weep, either voluntarily or when com¬pelled through suffering.”
Gregory the Theologian believed that everyone must weep. He even identified repentance with tears, whatever other ways of expressing it there may be: “All must shed tears, all must be purified, all must ascend.”
Symeon the Theologian is even more definite: “Remove tears and with them you remove purification; and without purification no one is saved.”
And this is very evident in the lives of the Saints who have preceded us. We have many great examples of in the history of the Church who are beautiful examples of how to live a life of repentance.

Take for example Saint Mary of Egypt.
She lived a very sinful life.
She began her life as a young woman who followed the passions of the body, running away from her parents at age twelve for Alexandria. There she lived as a harlot for seventeen years, refusing money from the men that she copulated with, instead living by begging and spinning flax.
One day, however, she met a group of young men heading toward the sea to sail to Jerusalem for the veneration of the Holy Cross. Mary went along for the ride, seducing the men as they traveled for the fun of it. But when the group reached Jerusalem and actually went towards the church, Mary was prohibited from entering by an unseen force. After three such attempts, she remained outside on the church patio, where she looked up and saw an icon of the Theotokos (Virgin Mary).
She began to weep and prayed with all her might that the Theotokos might allow her to see the True Cross; afterwards, she promised, she would renounce her worldly desires and go wherever the Theotokos may lead her. After this heart-felt conversion at the doors of the church, she fled into the desert to live as an ascetic.
She experienced Repentance to life: it was that moment after she had cried to the Virgin Mary asking for her intercession, that she was allowed to enter into the Church on the day of the feast.
We also see the need for a presence of a life of repentance. For St Mary it was her extreme ascetic approach in wondering the desert for years. We see in her life the true meaning of a change in direction as she is great Icon of Repentance.
For us what we must remember, is that our Goal is to push forward and to ask the Lord to grant us true repentance no matter the spiritual war we find ourselves in.
As St Macarius of Egypt warns us and says:
“It often happens that Satan will insidiously commune with you in your heart and say: ‘Think of the evil you have done; your soul is full of lawlessness, you are weighed down by many grievous sins.’ Do not let him deceive you when he does this and do not be led to despair on the pretext that you are being humble.
You should answer: “I have God’s assurance, for He says: “I desire, not the sinner’s death, but that he should return through repentance and live”. ‘ What was the purpose of His descent to earth except to save sinners, to bring light to those in darkness and life to the dead?”
If then the Lord truly has come down for our sakes in order for us to Repent and to have abundant life in Him, then let us be encouraged and bold in our struggle, always being assured that He will grant us real change, victory, and Repentance in our lives. Know your faith, live your faith.
REMEMBER: God is good and He will always be good to those who fear Him but that doesn’t remove the fact that God can destroy those who reject the Call of Repentance. In Revelation 9:20 we can see how stubborn people will become.
“The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk.” Revelation 9:20
People who worship idols and do not believe were and will be destroyed.
Do not reject The Call for Repentance for if you do it God will not be able to give you His Mercy and His Blessings!

Soul Energy Noosphere Regulators lead you on a path of Self-discovery.
Repentance is also a way of self-discovery: “Open to me the gate of repentance.” It is the gateway to oneself, to one’s fellowman, and to heaven. It leads inwards, but it also leads outwards by leading inwards. The world ceases to rotate round the self and begins to gravitate towards the other – the divine and the human other. Sin has the opposite effect. It blocks the way both inwards and outwards.
To repent and to confess is to break out of this restriction, “to accept with joy,” in Isaak the Syrian’s words, “the humility and humiliation of nature,” to transcend and to recover oneself. The world thereupon ceases to rotate around “me” and begins to gravitate towards the other, centering on God. Then, everyone and everything no longer exist for myself but for the glory of God, in the joy of the Resurrection. One is then able to comprehend more clearly the positive dimension of even sin, suffering, death, the devil and hell. Then, one discovers the depth of love crucified, the presence of the Lord in our midst – even “when the doors are shut” (John 20.19,26).
I invite you to ask yourself Have I ever truly really repented?
For Repentance is the only way to cleanse your heart from the act of sin after you have been baptized.
- Return to God
- Heart of zeal
- Spiritual awakening
- Cleansing the heart of sin
Here the repentance brought back the person to God and freed him from sin and Satan’s control over him, through repentance God will work in us and give us a clean heart.
“Jesus answered them, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.'” (John 8:34-36).
Repenting with Soul Energy Noosphere Regulators in your Energy Field will move your heart to a better place and the Holy Spirit will work in you to guide you to the next step which is refusing the act of sin and going towards abiding with God, unless the repentance was not from the heart but due to no ability to sin because the environment, being shy, too busy, scared to being caught.
How we can reach that level of repentance?
- Sit with yourself and search your heart
- Do not find excuses and justification
- Do not postpone your repentance
- Stay away from the things that cause you to sin
- Confess and partake of Holy Communion regularly
- Pray and fill your heart with God’s words
- Ask God to grant you power to over come
Also repentance will teach you to have a merciful heart toward others and pray and help them to overcome.
While those around you focus on knowledge, most do not understand that there is something that is far more important – the Blessing of God’s True Mercy & Wisdom upon You.
Become a calmer, more focused individual that is more than capable of dealing with the twists and turns that are a basic part of life. Focus your attention much more clearly and understand things better.
HOW TO OBTAIN THE PURITY OF THE HEART WHEN WE ARE LIVING IN THIS WORLD

HOW TO OBTAIN THE PURITY OF THE HEART WHEN WE ARE LIVING IN THIS WORLD
God wants us to live in the world, to have a family, education, get married, have children, and a career. But He also wants us, as we feed our body, give Him all His needs.
Therefore we should have time to spend with God every day on a regular basis
and give ourselves time to examine ourselves and pray for God to give us help to overcome temptation and work in us.
Therefore God’s grace will surpass our expectation if we are willing to give time and effort and love for Him and others.
May the Lord open our hearts to realize how desperate we are for His Love and Mercy.
Some things are easy to say but more difficult to actually do. What Will it take for you to come before Lord Jesus Christ & fall at his feet? Too often God has to allow us to get to the point of desperation & hopelessness before we realize that we can’t do it at all & that we need the power of Jesus? Can you reach that point yet? If you have the story tells you what you need to do. If you haven’t why wait? Come to Lord Jesus now and fall at His knees and admit that you need Him in your life.
It is the time for you to ask God to not blind your eyes, to open your mind in order you to be able to turn towards Him. Prefer and Strive for God’s approval not Humans.
Remember the ultimate destination of life’s journey. Now I saw a new Heaven & a new Earth and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There shall be no more death, no more sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain for the former things have passed away.

LET’S PRAY
Dear Father, we come to you because everything we try to do doesn’t really fill the emptiness inside us.
We confess our need for Your forgiveness and cleansing right now.
My Lord, I know You are the Life-giver and You are the one who opens our eyes and softens our hearts to see You and long for You. We ask that Lord Jesus Christ The Savior place His graciousness on us right now.
Please pour out Your love inside our hearts in the name of the Master who washes the feet of His disciples. Amen.
With love in the Lord,
Stella Kamenova
